50 Bangladeshi nationals sent to West Bengal by train for deportation

Indian authorities deported 50 Bangladeshi nationals by train to West Bengal, officials said. The group was sent from a detention center in Assam to the border state for repatriation.

The deportees were handed over to West Bengal police at the New Jalpaiguri railway station. They were then taken to the Indo-Bangladesh border for transfer to Bangladeshi authorities.

The individuals had been detained for residing in India without valid documentation. The deportation follows standard procedures for foreign nationals found to be staying illegally.
