Tamil Nadu sends 50 Bangladeshi nationals to Bengal for deportation

Tamil Nadu authorities have sent 50 Bangladeshi nationals to West Bengal for deportation, according to a report. The individuals were transferred from Tamil Nadu to Bengal as part of the deportation process.

The move comes as part of ongoing efforts to identify and repatriate foreign nationals living illegally in India. The 50 individuals were reportedly held in detention facilities in Tamil Nadu before being moved.

Officials in Tamil Nadu coordinated with their counterparts in West Bengal to facilitate the transfer. The Bangladeshi nationals are expected to be handed over to Bangladeshi authorities after completing legal formalities.

The deportation process involves verification of nationality and documentation before the individuals are sent back to Bangladesh. This is not the first such transfer from Tamil Nadu, which has been involved in similar deportation cases in the past.
