Mylapore Express: A Popular Bay Area Chain Expands to Metro Atlanta

Mylapore Express, a restaurant chain known for its South Indian cuisine, has expanded to Metro Atlanta. The chain, which originated in the San Francisco Bay Area, opened its first Atlanta-area location in the city of Duluth.

The new restaurant offers a menu similar to its California locations, featuring dishes such as dosas, idlis, and vadas. The chain is named after the Mylapore neighborhood in Chennai, India.

Mylapore Express has gained a following in the Bay Area for its fast-casual format and affordable prices. The Atlanta expansion marks the chain's first location outside of California.

The Duluth restaurant is located on Pleasant Hill Road, an area with a significant Indian American population. The chain plans to serve both dine-in and takeout customers.
