Ajay Thomas Appointed Board Chair-Designate at Southwestern University

Southwestern University has appointed Ajay Thomas as board chair-designate, effective immediately. Thomas, an Indian American business executive, will assume the role of board chair in 2025, succeeding the current chair.

Thomas is a 1990 graduate of Southwestern University and currently serves as the chief operating officer at a global technology firm. He has been a member of the university's board of trustees since 2018.

In his new role, Thomas will work closely with the university administration to advance strategic priorities. The appointment reflects the university's commitment to engaging alumni leadership in governance.
